ANTHRAX - Stomp 442 (CD)

1995's STOMP 442 was Anthrax's second album with singer John Bush, and first after the band sacked lead guitarist and founding member Dan Spitz (Pantera's Dimebag Darrell fills inon a few tracks), The sound continues in the straight-aheadmetal direction of its predecessor, the 1993 hit SOUND OF WHITE NOISE--Anthrax strips down many of the songs to their heavy-metal core with no fancy trappings to dull the rage andpower. "Fueled" and "American Pompeii" prove that the recent lineup changes hadn't dulled the group's desire to rock furiously.
