Since their formation in 2010, Phoenix, Az's Lago have consistently proven to be one of death metal's most interesting acts. Equal parts of the old-school, death metal masters Morbid Angel, Immolation, and Deicide collide with a more modern Behemoth or Origin and an over-arching original ear for songwriting to create a sound that Lago call their own; the subtle interplay between melody, atonality, and out-and-out brutality, brilliantly realized.
