METALLICA - Live At Grimey's - Limited (2 x 10in)

Recorded at The Basement, a tiny club beneath Grimey's Record Store in Nashville one night prior to their Bonnaroo appearance in 2008.
The record consists of mostly older material, three songs from Kill `Em All, two from And Justice For All, plus one each from Master Of Puppets, Metallica (Black album) & Reload.
The songs chosen seem for maximum hard hitting, crunching effect which stand out in such an "intimate" gig, yet don't sacrifice subtlety completely.
The feel or "vibe" however is what really makes this release special, it possesses an extremely intimate live feel, including moments where James talks with individuals in the audience, and the banter back and forth between the band and fans is completely unusual and unexpected.
