Following the more experimental Diatribes, Inside The Torn Apart is arguably the grooviest record in Napalm Death's discography, easing off on the blastbeats and producing a thick, bottom-heavy sound that fit right in with the '90s groove metal explosion. They still sound unmistakably like Napalm Death however, with Barney Greenway's iconic guttural roar sounding more imposing than ever.
