TUCK FROM HELL made a sensational album debut 12 years ago with
"Thrashing". The band was already a celebrated live act and the road to
fame seemed to be mapped out.
But fate had other plans and the band was laid to rest. Almost...
Drummer and bandleader Fredrik Johansson and guitarists Petrus Granar
and Marcus Bengts continued to write music.
After Petrus Granar joined "Civil War", the band in which Fredrik's father
Nils Patrik Johansson also sings, TUCK FROM HELL eventually shrank to
a duo.
"It felt really weird sitting on a bunch of hard-hitting thrash songs without
doing anything with them. Our singer Niclas Ingels had no time to focus on
music due to his family situation, so what to do? Out of nowhere my father,
Nils Patrik, said: "What the hell, I can sing for you. Let's make a whole

The rest is or will be history. They changed the name to RIFFORIA, started
recording and had a lot of fun. Peter Granar also returned to the band.
"Axeorcism" delivers ten statements of really strong, modern heavy metal
and will continue the successful history of Swedish hard and heavy
releases on Metalville Records.
