In the year of 1999, the world prepares for the new millenium and the band Sabaton takes it's current form, After the first songs were recorded in the legendary studio Abyss, the public interest of the band increases rapidly and Sabaton was contacted by a couple of record labels, The band decides to sign up for an Italian label who releases the promo-cd "Fist For Fight" internationally with the intentions to promote forthcoming releases, A year after the first recordings were made Sabaton returns to the abyss, again working with Tommy Tagtgren on the bands debut album "Metalizer", While waiting for the album to be released Sabaton performs all over Sweden, and after two years of waiting for the Italians to finish their spaghetti and release "Metalizer" Sabaton decides to record another album.
